Human remains near Taylor Swift's House in Rhode Island: Police

A gloomy scene developed not far from Taylor Swift's holiday home on the morning of May 14th.

The Westerly police confirm that in the Watch Hill area, the wealthy enclave area, in which the singer's Seaside House is located.

Officers who arrived at Everett Avenue around 9:30 a.m. unveiled “what apparently a human leg bone was,” said an explanation that was shared with people. The remains were brought to the medical examiner's office in Rhode Island for analysis.

“The investigators are waiting for the official confirmation of the identity of the remains,” continues the explanation. At this point, no foul is suspected.

A resident who spoke to the local news station NBC10 Wjar, Taylor Day, said she had seen “three police cars, an undercover … and a medical examiner behind me.” She added: “Somehow it alerted me and it was just something very unusual for western ones.”

Day demanded the proximity to Swift's landmark and the most famous historical hotel in the area.

“It was probably a few soccer fields from Taylor Swift's house and Ocean House,” she said. “I would never expect something like that – especially not in Watch Hill.”
