Truck driver is killed

The truck driver was supposedly to blame for the fiery crash, in which two men were killed and three more, including two children, were critically injured, according to East Ridge, according to the clerk.

The bond for Antoinier Joseph's 12 charges, including ruthless murder, crime serious bodily harm and ruthless danger, amounted to USD 165,000. He was released on Wednesday evening. His next court date will take place on August 5 in front of the criminal court in East Ridge, said the clerk Patricia Cassidy.

Witnesses told the police that according to a police report, Joseph had driven between the lanes and irregularly before the crash. Video material showed that the Semitruck accelerated and did not slow down because the traffic slowed down, which led to a chain reaction that led to crashing with several vehicles, the report says.

According to the report, the crash included six passenger vehicles in addition to the Semitruck, and two vehicles were devoured in flames – a white jeep and a white Ford truck.

The drivers of both vehicles – Lane Smith (23) and David Huggins, 61 – were declared dead at the crime scene, said Clint Utelton, police chief of East Ridge. There were three passengers in the vehicle with Smith who drove the jeep. All three, Baleigh, Brynlee and Sawyer Smith, were brought to the main hospital of Erlanger.

Huggins from Dawsonville, Georgia, was a father whose four children were the “joys of his life”, and was described as someone who never met a stranger and devoted himself to helping people and people in his obituary of Logan Funeral Home from Ellijay, Georgia.

Joseph worked for Valparaiso Trucking Corp., which belonged to Wisner Florestant and operated from South Florida. With Amazon and Joseph, the company transported a load for Amazon at the time of the crash.

“He has his own truck,” said Florestant, “but he runs under my authority.”

Florestant said Joseph had only been driving for the company for a few months, but has a long history to be a truck driver. He said Joseph had never had any problems according to his knowledge.

Valparaiso Trucking Corp. employed seven drivers and had four security violations last year, according to the company's report of the company's security measuring system at the Federal Motor Carry Safety Administration.
