“Just a good guy” – NBC 6 Südflorida

A man who was killed at a fiery crash in Hollywood at the weekend was worked as funny and hard by his community.

The 49-year-old Douglas Freeman was a beloved and well-known hairdresser in Toppcuttaz Barbershop in Miami Gardens.

“All the time full of laughs. Full of fun,” said Michael Stephens, who belongs to the hairdressing shop. “Only a good guy. Try to make it out here, over his family.”

The crash occurred on Sunday near the Sheridan Street and the North 40th Avenue in Hollywood. Freeman was killed when his BMW fell against another and broke out in flames. The crash also sent several others to the hospital.

The video shows the moments shortly before the crash, in which a white car interspersed and foul into the traffic. The investigators did not say what caused the crash.

Reginald Takees was friends with Freeman for more than 20 years.

“To talk to someone at a moment, then they are in the next way, it really hits you,” said Takees.

He spoke to Freeman on Friday, two days before the crash. Freeman sent him a picture of his BMW, which he had just bought that day.

“Next, I was looking for what you know on social media and I saw his picture and he was gone,” said Takees.

Freeman was together with a hairdresser and drove trucks on the side. He was described as a committed father.

The police did not say who was to blame.

“This is not a video game. This is real. Your vehicles are real,” said Tqualles. “You may be in a hurry. Life can take each other. It can take another life.”

The police did not publish the names or conditions of the other people involved in the crash.
