Man identified after being killed and killed by the police officer of Visalia

Visalia, California (KFSN) – A man was killed after he was hit by a Visalia police officer on Wednesday evening.

Friends identified the victim as a man named Alfredo, who was about 60 years old.

They say he was a friendly person and was loved by his community.

Yellow band and a small monument are located on the corner of the Houston Avenue and the Rinaldi Street in Northern Visalia.

Here the California Highway Patrol took over an investigation after a visalia police officer killed and killed a pedestrian in its cruiser on Wednesday evening at 9 a.m.

Visalia's police said her officer, who is now paid for administrative leave, is on a normal patrol of the area when she hit Alfredo, who crossed the street.

“As a result of the collision, the pedestrian received significant injuries that required immediate medical help, which were provided by the official and additional civil servants who reacted to the scene,” said Daniel Ford, police captain of Visalia.

“The pedestrian was brought to the Kaweah Health Medical Center and was unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.”

Alfredo was described by locals as a modest and peaceful person who lived his own life.

Jose Lizarraga has been his friend for 17 years.

“He was very friendly with everyone, he was a cool man,” said Jose.

“He seemed to be a very happy person, he was very honest.”

Alfredo had been living with his friend Gustavo Falcon in this corner house for several months.

Gustavo says his buddy had gone into the shop on the other side of the street and later the tragedy watched.

“I took care of him like my own parents and it is a shame that he is gone, explains Gustavo.

He says, although he does not describe the officer to the officer, he believes that when driving safely, you have to give a good example of the rest of the community.

Especially now the good man who was his friend for years is gone.

Alfredo's friends say that they communicate with his family from Los Angeles and Oaxaca and plan burial arrangements and where his body is put to rest.
