911 calls after a fatal, fiery crash published in Hollywood

Hollywood, Fla. – The authorities have published 911 calls from affected witnesses who refer to a fiery wreck in Hollywood.

The crash brought a car into a wall wall before it went up in flames.

It happened on Sunday at the intersection of the Sheridan Street and the North 40th Avenue.

“You can't miss the smoke, you just can't miss the smoke,” said one. “Oh my goodness.”

Several people at the busy intersection stopped a captured driver in the burning car.

The family identified the driver, who died as a 49-year-old Douglas Freeman.

At the beginning of this week Local 10 News interviewed two of his sisters.

“He had just taken his girlfriend to Mother's Day,” said Sharon Grant, the victim's sister. “She dropped out and went home.”

Freeman was a veteran of the Navy, a beloved hairdresser, and currently worked as a truck driver. He was also the father of seven children.

“He did her day,” said Ramona Harper, the victim's sister. “Everyone with whom he came into contact was loved by so many.”

Before the crash, video, which was preserved by local 10 messages by a passing driver, showed a white car that woven into the traffic.

The same car was later turned to the side before it was towed. The driver of this vehicle was taken to the hospital with non -life -threatening injuries.

It is unclear what exactly caused the crash.

The examination remains active and continuous.
