The baseball catcher of Florida, Luke Heyman, is ready for the 2025 season after broken his forearm when he was hit by a pitch in the first inning on May 15th against Alabama.

The Florida Gators (36-18, 14-14 seconds) gathered back to defeat the Crimson Tide 7-6, even though they had suffered a position on a further significant injury. Florida Lost Center Field Kyle Jones and the second Baseman Cade Kurland at the beginning of this season against shoulder injuries. In addition, Shortstop Colby Shelton has missed the last two weeks because of a Hamate bone injury.

Heyman beat 13 Homeruns and 44 RBIs .301 in the season. He was also defensive behind the plate with a field percentage of 0.998 and tried 11 out of 34 runners to steal this season.

“Everyone is disappointed for him,” said Kevin O'Sullivan, baseball coach from Florida. “He dropped his cock and you have seen the improvements that he made from his first year to his second year and second year to his third year.”

With Heyman Out, Junior Brody Donay will take on full-time catch tasks for the rest of the season. Donay sucked a Homer with two runs with two runs in the seventh inn to raise the Gators to victory on Thursday evening.

“The biggest is to continue the pitching staff as he did,” said Donay. “He did a great job when he fought his way back from 1: 11 and only worked with them to be in the zone and give us the best chance to win every game.”

Florida also lost the second Baseman Justin Nadeau against a hand injury when he started a double game in the fourth inning. O'Sullivan said Nadeau torn a nail from his finger. With the two injuries in the same game, Florida was forced to move Blake Cyr from left into the second basis and to burn the red shirt from Outfield Blake Brookings, which played the left field.

O'Sullivan said that he does not expect Nade out of injuries to handle him in the long term.

“I think they said they will probably glue it super and see what it feels like tomorrow,” said O'Sullivan. “If he can't play and we certainly won't push him, we will have a similar list than the last seven innings.”
