Wasbörse, cash stolen in the Wausau food business in March

Wausau, Wis. (WSAW) – Marathon County Crime Stopper needs her help to identify a woman who is accused of stealing a handbag from an unattended car in a grocery store from Wausau.

The sheriff department says a woman stolen a black coaches from the Bridge Street Pick 'n Save on March 7.

CCTV video shows the woman who goes out of the store with the wallet. The wallet was regained on March 10, but 200 US dollars were missing.

In this case it is not necessarily the crime that is unusual, but where it took place.

“This is not very common,” said Detective Bradley Tatro from the Marathon County Sheriff's Department. “In general, we see it in the shopping area of ​​Rib Mountain, which is a group that does similar things where you distract a buyer and then take it out of your handbag. Tatro says it is a slim chance that the victim will get his money back, but he hopes that you can identify and find the woman to receive the refund for the victim.
