The NBA legend had words after the heated Danny aing moment

Danny Aing has a call in the NBA as a player and manager. He helped the Boston Celtics in 1984 and 1986 to the titles and helped the Portland Trail Blazers and Phoenix Suns in 1992 and 1993 the NBA final.

When he took over the Celtics as President of Basketball Operations, he put together the “Big 3” by Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray to everyone, which led to a title in 2008. He then designed Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, which led to the title of Celtics in 2024.

What is not talked about is a short-lived coaching career. After the end of his game days, Aing was a coach on the Phoenix Sun from 1996 to 1999. When he was an assistant, there was a notorious incident in which Robert Horry threw a towel on Aing on the bench.

Horry, who won seven titles throughout his NBA career, explained what led to the fact that he threw the towel on the NBA show on the wrestler. Horry said it started with Aing's actions during the 1994 Playoff series between the Suns and Houston Rockets.

“Danny Aing takes out the ball,” started horry. “You are down. We are shortly before the game. He takes it and throws it and hits Mario (Elie) directly with the ball. A few years later I am acted in a few years later, and that's why we speak in your hallway and show the facilities … And he knew: 'You know that I hit Mario in my face with the ball with the ball.”

From there, the strain between Aing and horry only got worse. The seven -time champion revealed other arguments that only raised their problems with each other.
