Advertisers cut relationships with actor Hwang Jung-Eum over the crypto scandal

The advertisers have started to shorten the relationship with actor Hwang Jung-Eum after admitting that they invested in cryptocurrency from their own company on Thursday.
On Friday, advertisements and videos from Hwang for Daesang Wellife Nucare were deleted from the official social media channels of the Nutrition Drink Brand. It has been less than a week since the advertisements have been released for the first time on Monday.
As part of the advertising campaign, the brand also made a commentary event in which “changes in internal timetables” were cited.
According to local reports, SBS Plus said that it is “waiting for an answer from the agency” in relation to its variety show “because I'm solo” (2024-) that Hwang houses. The channel said that he would decide whether Hwang should be broadcast from episodes in the future, “depending on the statement”.
