Three men were shot in Calumet Park along the Seefront on the South Side of Chicago, and one of them later died.

At 6:25 p.m., a 25-year-old man and two 26-year-old men came into an argument along the Crilly Drive in the park, and this person took out a gun and shot them all, said the police.

The 25-year-old man was shot in the back and brought to the Medical Center of the University of Chicago in a critical condition, the police said. He later died in the hospital.

One of the 26-year-old men was brought to the same hospital with several gunshot wounds in a critical condition. The other was shot in the back and neck and brought to the Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in a critical condition.

A weapon was recovered at the crime scene.

The Calumet Park is located along the SeFront between the 95th and 101st street, south of the Iroquois landing facility of the Illinois of the Illinois National Port District, and north of the city, where State Lake Michigan Lake Michigan is, becomes the eastern border of the city of Chicago. The park must not be confused with the suburb of the same name by South Chicago.

Detectives of the Calumet Area Detective examine the shootout.
