PPP Slams PTI via RS40B scandal, requires the disclosure of names

Islamabad-Pakistani People's Party (PPP) struck in the Pakistani Tehrik-E-Insaf (PTI) yesterday about one of the largest financial scandals in the country's history, and claimed to condemn the embezzlement of 40 billion RS in a single Khyber Paktunkhwa department between 2020 and 2024.

General Secretary Muhammad Humayun Khan criticized the PTI leadership that they were accused of other corruption and were allegedly involved in large-scale financial miscarriage. “Those who describe themselves as supporters of the” state of Madinah “have looted 40 billion RS of only one department,” he added.

He claimed that the management of the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was also involved in the financial irregularities. “Even the top lead in the province used the situation. We demand that their names are published,” he added.

In an explanation, Humayun Khan accused the former PTI-led government to hinder investigations into other major scandals such as the Rapid Transit (BRT) Bus, and questioned the silence of over the billion Tree Tsunami Initiative and the Malam Jabba-Land fraud, whose examination reports still raffled off.

“The people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have now been hit with another massive financial blow worth 40 billion rupees,” he said. “This party, which claims to be technically solid, has looted the resources of the province in the past 12 years,” he said.

Humayun Khan asked the responsible authorities to take rapid measures, bring the facts to the public and to fold the responsible persons for the alleged abuse of public funds.
