Brayden Randle from Ole Miss Ball receives status -update

Ole Miss Second Baseman Brayden Randle continues to breastfeed a finger injury that was suffered during a recent strike practice in Oxford.

Skipper Mike Bianco gave an update post -game for the game on Sunday against Vanderbilt and the Matchup on Tuesday against Austin Pay.

“It is a light fracture at the top of his finger and it was swollen today. He will visit another hand specialist tomorrow,” said Bianco on Sunday.

“We understand that he might get a seams in his finger because he has broken up. The fracture itself that we will wait until tomorrow, but we are confident that it is a pain tolerance because it is where it is and how small it would not have been able to play.”

Bianco followed his first explanation after the Matchup on Tuesday against Austin Pay on Tuesday on Tuesday, when the shothall of the rebels revealed that Randle was operated on.

He explained that the operation on April 30 would be carried out to heal with an initial timeline of three weeks, but it is up to the doctors to choose.

“Timetime, it would probably be better to make him the operation and let the doctors decide.” Said Bianco. “We think it will take about three weeks.”

Although Bianco was missing the three weeks, he ended it positively.

“He will be back,” said Bianco. “It could be less than that it could be more, it depends on how it feels.”

Randle played in 27 games for Ole Miss this season when he started in 15 of his appearances. He lowers .288/.368/.356, while he drives in five runs and plays a great glove on the field.

Randle is expected to miss at least the next two series games and possibly the last three regular season series.

After the SEC tournament runs around, Randle could come back and a role in what the rebels hope for a deep tournament.
