Bruce Springsteen opens the UK tour by describing Trump as unsuitable for the office

Bruce Springsteen criticized the Trump government at the opening exhibition of his British tour and accused her official of authoritarianism to reset civil rights and illegal deportations.

Springsteen, 75, a prominent liberal, who has supported democratic presidential candidates such as the former Vice President Kamala Harris for a long time, made the comments at a concert in Manchester, England on Wednesday.

“The Mighty E Street Band is here tonight to call up the fair power of art, music, rock'n'roll in dangerous times,” he said to roar from the crowd.

“In my house, the America that I love is the America that I have written about, which has been a beacon of hope and freedom for 250 years, currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treacherous administration.”

Springsteen then asked the followers of democracy to “raise their voices against authoritarianism and ring freedom!” Before the show began.

Later in the performance, he described what he saw in the United States under President Donald Trump.

“They pursue people because they use their right to freedom of expression and express their contradiction,” said Springsteen in his comments that a transcript and a video were later published on his website and YouTube channel.

He also accused the Trump administration of “giving up the poorest children in the world for illness and death” and “sadistic pleasure in the pain that they cause loyal American workers”.

“They roll back the historical civil rights laws that have led to a fair and more plural society,” said Springsteen. “They leave our great allies and stand with dictators against those who fight for their freedom.”

“They disappoint American universities who do not bow to their ideological requirements.

Springsteen also said that most of the elected representatives would not have protected the Americans, “from the abuse of an unsuitable president and a villain government”.

Nevertheless, he said: “The America that I have sung to them for 50 years is real, and regardless of its mistakes, is a great country with a great people.”

“So we will survive this moment,” he added.

The White House said in an explanation that “the 77 million Americans, who chose President Trump, do not agree with elite and extraordinary celebrities like Bruce Springsteen. Bruce is cordially invited to stay overseas, while hard -working Americans, thanks to President Trump, enjoy a safe border and a cooling inflation.”

This is not the first time that Springsteen Trump has publicly criticized and described him as a “obvious poisonous narcissist” before his election in 2016.

Springsteen is known for albums that celebrate and critically examine American ideals, especially his album “Born in the USA” from 1984, in which he criticized the Vietnam War and the subsequent treatment of American veterans.

He will debut unpublished songs at the end of June 83, 74 of which have never been heard by the public.
