“A third of our list did not visit the university. At least 11 of our entries were born overseas and underlined the draw that our country continues to have for ambitious, talented young stars to build their reputation and companies.

“We know that many of our readers will find the stories that inspire how the entrepreneurs have built up their activities. It will be fascinating to see which this year's line-up will thrive in the coming years.”

The Rich list of the Sunday Times 2025 shows the assets of the 350 richest people in Great Britain and is based on identifiable prosperity, including land, property, other assets such as art and race horses or significant stocks on publicly cited companies. It excludes bank accounts on which the paper has no access.

In the 40 under 40 people, people with the largest assets from the age of 40 are listed from May 1, 2025.
