Washington, DC – US Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) Spoke on the 100 on the SenateTH Day of President Donald Trump's second term in order to highlight the catastrophic effects of President Trump's agenda on hard -working Nevadans and their business.

Throughout the Start of Trump's Term, The Senator Cortez Masto Has Pushed Multiple Departments Under the Trump Administration for Detailed, Public Information Regarding The Impacts of President Trump's Federal Freeze, Hiring Freeze, And Terminations On Nevada – Includ of the Interior, The Us Forest Service, The National Nuclear Security Administration, The Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Agriculture, General Services Administration, Department of Health and Human Services, and Consumer Finance Protection Bureau.

Senator Cortez Masto has repeatedly triggered President Trump and the attempts by the Republican of the Congress to reduce Medicaid for the payment of tax cuts for billionaires. And it continued to urge the Trump administration to tackle the effects of Trump's tariffs on working families, small companies and the Nevada travel and tourism industry.

In the following you will find your comments on how it is prepared for the delivery:

During the election campaign last year in Bozeman, Montana, Donald Trump said: “From the very first day we will end inflation and make America affordable again to reduce the prices of all goods.”

Well, it was 100 days ago since he entered the White House, and here is what he has given us so far:

His tariffs increase the cost of the average family by more than 4,000 US dollars a year.

He demolished billions from programs to which Americans rely on everyday life, including 1 billion US dollars for mental health services.

He has instructed Elon Musk and his unqualified loyalists to dismiss more than 121,000 federal employees who offer essential services – all of Park Rangers who have the task of protecting the Americans safely to explore healers in order to research remedies for fatal diseases.

He pushes the Republicans from House and Senate to stamp a plan to reduce almost $ 1 trillion from Medicaid in order to give billions of taxes.

And he created endless chaos and uncertainty.

I could go on and on – just as much damage that President Trump caused our country to our country in 100 days – I would like to take some time to focus on the effects of his economic agenda on our small companies.

I come from Nevada, where there are almost 300,000 small companies.

These mom and pop stores are the life elixir of our economy and part of the material of every community.

And it is these small companies that bear the main burden of President Trump's destructive tariffs.

Now I believe that targeted tariffs on our opponents can be a useful instrument to protect American jobs and support our national security.

But these ceiling tariffs are the opposite of it.

In the last two weeks of the week at home in Nevada, I get a first-hand report about which small companies have to deal with.

I heard these concerns from three small entrepreneurs in Las Vegas: Juanny, Santy and Kristen. All three women have shops that serve Nevadans special drinks and incredible food – from coffee and boba to tacos.

In Vegas – as you may know – travel and tourism are the backbone of our economy.

When people come to Las Vegas, don't just visit the strip. They go to Chinatown and in the Arts District and throughout the valley to patronize our little shops.

For many business owners and Juanny, like Santy, like Kristen-Sind their margins already razor thin, and tourism is the key to achieve their final result.

Due to the customs duties of President Trump, however, we already see a decline in visitors to Las Vegas.

Whether people stay at home because they have no place in their budgets for vacation or choose international tourists other destinations -Trump's economic agenda threatens to do our 2 -billion dollar tourism industries.

That hurts our little company!

And if you cannot keep up because the costs increase because you have fewer customers or because of the higher costs for importing your supplies – you have to increase your prices and pass on the burden to customers.

It is not sustainable.

And the same feeling is repeated in the northern part of our state.

In Reno I spoke to Mark, a small coffee shop owner who is already wondering how he can continue to navigate everyday operations in the middle of uncertainty.

He does not want to pass on higher costs to customers, but if Trump continues unpredictable tariff agenda, he may have no other choice.

Trump says that the Americans have to accept short -term pain for long -term profit, but what should you win when hard -working Nevadans have to close the doors of their company?

I think if it was only 100 days ago, how much damage will it possibly cause in the next 100?

In the 1361 days in his term?

100 days have passed and small companies in the USA could soon be faced with the closure of the shop.

What will Juanny, Mark, Santy, happen to Kristen?

Will you make it through the rest of Trump's term?

I don't know the answer.

But I hope my Republican colleagues stop the harmful agenda from Rubber, who stamp Trump's harmful agenda and actually stand up for working families and small companies.
