Vigil in honor of the 17-year-old, who was killed in the motorcycle accident in the American Fork Canyon

Family members, friends and parishioners gathered in the children's home of 17-year-old Noah Scribner in Orem to remember the teenager.

Scribner was killed in a motorcycle accident on Monday. He was only a few days off the end of the Pimpanogos High School and made a mission for his church.

“There are many ups and downs, there have been three days, it is difficult,” said scribner's uncle Jeff Wilks.

“He will never do all the things he could have achieved through his hard work and the kind of person he is, and it is very difficult to swallow,” said Natalie Schultz, his ballroom teacher.

Those who gathered on Thursday evening sung, told stories about Noah and ignited candles in his memory right in front of their family home. Many express their memories of gifts for the family.

A beloved ball dancer, a student athlete, a son, a brother, a uncle and a friend will not soon forget by those who knew him best.

“He illuminated a room when he came in and everyone felt like that. We had no idea how much,” said Wilks, Scribner's uncle Kutv said on Thursday. “People would feel that he was her best friend, and for me that is the legacy of him, which he only made to feel comfortable, no matter where he was or what he was doing.”

The high school senior was looking forward to making his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of the saints of the last few days in Honduras. Then he wanted to come back and join the BYU Ballsaal team.

Friends and family said that he all made him feel loved. In the past three days, many have come by to offer Scripner's family support and love. Hundreds of donations to a Gofundme page to pay for his funeral.

“He was one of the most talented dancers I have ever worked with,” said Schultz, his ballroom dance teacher. “I think you will remember him as a very talented dance as a very good friend who will always be there.”

The family hopes to build a scholarship in his name to continue Noah's legacy.
