Tractor tracker crash closes i20 WB in Dekalb County

Dekalb County, Ga. – – All lanes in the west on the Interstate 20 were closed after an accident with a tractor process in early Friday morning.

The crash blocks the interstate near the Panola Road overpass in Dekalb County.

What we know:

The details about the crash remain limited, but it seems that it was a semi-trick that was fallen over, and another vehicle that was badly damaged.

Fox 5 cameras saw Hazmat crews in the area to clean up materials that may have been spilled by the truck.

Officials say that the crash has caused the nearby overpass to damage, but still allows that the traffic can use the road.

What we don't know:

The authorities have not shared any information about the conditions of a driver involved in the crash.

The road is expected to be opened again at 7 a.m.

Until then, the drivers should expect major delays and use the Covington Highway, the Hillandale Roads and the Browns Mills Road as an alternative routes.
