President Trump signs a large AI deal before going home

Trump has approved a contract with the United Arab Emirates to build a massive data center complex that focuses on artificial intelligence. It is one of several AI deals announced during the President's departure in the Middle East.

According to the trade department, the system is powered by five gigawatts of energy and 10 square kilometers and 10 square kilometers will take to minimize emissions. It is operated in cooperation with US companies.

The Gulf Nation will also offer better access to advanced chips, and although the announcement does not name US -American companies, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang was one of the CEOs on Thursday that was spotted with the President of Qasr Al Watan.

In comments, Trump alluded to Huang's commitment and added: “I think it will be something very special – it is a massive project.”

Huang said his company would spend hundreds of billions of dollars for chips and electronics that were manufactured in the USA over the next four years. He recently met with the president in Mar-A-Lago, NBC News reported.

In an explanation that described the deal as “historical”, said Minister of Commerce Howard Lutnick that it would drive significant investments in advanced semiconductors and data centers in both countries. American companies will operate data centers in the VAE and offer American cloud services in the region.

The project will be the largest AI campus outside the United States.
