The new season of the Welcome in Wrexham has given an insight into the injury problems with which Paul Mulllin was faced with.

Wrexham signed Paul Mulllin in the summer of 2021 with a free transfer from Cambridge United.

It was a big coup for the club that landed a player who had just landed secondary as the top scorer of the league and won an action while the National League.

Mulllin enjoyed the first three years in Wales, scored over 100 goals every season and ended as a top scorer.

However, an insight into the injury problems with which the 30-year-old had to be treated has appeared.

Paul Mullin opens an injury to WREXHAM

Welcome to Wrexham Season 4, which was premiered on Friday, May 16, on Disney+ for fans in Great Britain.

The first episode of the show gave an insight into the preparations of the association for the 2024/25 season.

Mulllin missed the beginning of the campaign due to an injury, and Jack Marriott was instead with Ollie Palmer at the front.

In episode 1, the striker, born in Liverpool, opened the back problems he had in the past three years.

When he did this, he announced that a surgeon told him that he was in danger of losing the feeling in his left leg.

“In the past three years in which I always had this problem with myself. Herniat -Disc, shot a disc, whatever, and the cartilage basically pressed nerve, constant shooting pain in me and such.

“I couldn't really, I could sprint, but it always hurt. I found a way to continue and simply play with the pain, to get well with him, and until summer it did more than us.

“I scanned it at the end of May. The surgeon obviously told me that it had doubled, and I had the risk that I would lose all the feeling in my left leg when it was continued.”

Paul Mullin resisted for Wrexham

On August 24, Mulllin returned from the bank against reading 16 minutes.

He played a regular role in the first half of the season, but was excluded by Phil Parkinson's by Phil Parkinson's after January 28th.

Parkinson recently commented on Mullin and said that he and Ollie Palmer will return to the 2025 season.

He said: “Mulls and Ollie will always be legends for what they have done in this club. They are under contract next year and they will be ready to go again in the previous season.”
