A woman in Chicago was charged with a fatal accident, in which a 76-year-old man was killed in the neighborhood of Marquette Park on Tuesday evening.

Nyamca Tolefree, 29, is charged with several charges, including a criminal offense that reports an accident that leads to death and an offense of driving under the influence of alcohol. She also received quotes for the transport of alcohol as a driver, failure, not to worry and reduce the speed.

According to the Chicago police, Tolefree drove an SUV to the north in the 7000 block of the South Western Avenue when she hit the man who crossed the street. She supposedly fled the scene, but was localized and arrested for a little more than an hour.

The victim was brought to Christian Hospital with serious injuries and later declared dead. His identity has not yet been published.
