Two men shot in Wolff Street on the northwest side of the city

Rochester, NY – two men are dead after a shootout in Wolff Street on the northwest side of the city. The Rochester police were both dead with gunshot wounds in the upper body on the veranda of a house.

The officers arrive at around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both victims were in the fifties and the office of the medical examiner in Monroe County was working on determining their identity.

RPD investigator is working on determining whether someone lives in the house that lies between the Lyell Avenue and the Otis Street. According to the RPD, the drug users have historically visited the house.

There are no suspects in custody. RPD asks everyone with information or video in Wolff Street, the Warner Street or the Rogers Avenue to call 911. You can also send an e -mail to myorroycrimes@cityofrochester.gov.

The double shootout brings Rochester's murders to 10 for the year.
