The latest development video from Dune Awakening shows faction -specific bases that look far more beautiful than the boring boxes that we built in the beta

Another day, another official Dune Awakening Devideo, which this time emphasizes the basic building system. While the basics of the basic structure are something that we have already seen a lot about, we get further insights into the late game fraction-specific building opportunities for all of your Harkonnen- und Atridides lovers out there.

The video itself that you can see below covers the entire construction process. Start with the first basis you would build to save yourself from sandstorms. After you have locked up your alliance with one of the two main fractions, new building options are available. As shown in the video, these bases look different from each other, depending on which page you have selected.

Why is something like that can be seen? Well, there is the obvious ability to express the player, which enables the basic faction -specific basic adjustment. I can say with great certainty that when your cliff base is harked and your neighbor has a somewhat cooler house with Areide's colors, you are held away from it. That is the whole idea. The ability to express their loyalty to one side in the war against spice against other players is the key to immersion.

This is a thing that Dune Awakening focused on these other MMOs who have withdrawn from something. World of Warcraft is the most legendary example, a game that used to be Allianz and Horde dynamics before the barriers were broken down between the two sides. A more comfortable experience, but undoubtedly with a less organic character.

Let us know what kind of base you will build and what is more important, with which faction you are with when Dune Awakening starts later this year.
