Pedestrians met, killed by car in the South Park district in Seattle

A 60-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a car late Thursday evening in Seattle's South Park Quarter.

The investigators said the officials reacted to the intersection of 14th Avenue South and South Henderson Street around 11 p.m. after reports on a crash in which a pedestrian was involved.

When the officials arrived, they found a man with serious injuries.

The Seattle fire brigade carried out life -saving measures for the man, but died of his injuries.

According to the police, the man crossed the street when a car hit him. The driver, a 23-year-old man, stayed at the scene and worked with the police. Officers found no signs of impairments.

The investigation remains and everyone is asked to call the traffic collision investigation squad of the Seattle Police Department under number 206-684-8923.
