Six condemned in the corruption scandal of the wage and salary statement


Six people were convicted by the High Court in Tamale in a corruption scheme for wage and salary billing, which includes ghost names and fraudulent salary payments within the educational service in Ghana.

The convictions followed guilty requests, which were entered as part of the PLEA negotiating framework of the OSP, which led to a complete reimbursement and reparation of the state.

The convicted persons include school administrators, salary account officials and accountants who make the illegal confirmation and reactivation of salaries facilitate for a teacher who had left his position.

Her actions led to the illegal payment of over 86,000 GHS, all of which have now been restored, which brought the total amount to 106,319.64 GHS.
