Astros Top Prospect has sat on the injured list of the minor league with considerable injury

The Houston Astros have some high -quality prospects that occur through their farm system, and maybe no more remarkable than the 2023 first round of Brice Matthews.

Matthews has worked from Florida Complex League to Triple-A in about one and a half seasons, and now he only holds a level from his debut in the Major League.

Unfortunately, there will be a setback in this process, as Brian McTaggart from MLB.com reports that Matthews was put on the list of injured Minor League on Thursday after a concussion and is currently in the brain conception protocol.

This injury has occurred in a film recently, and he is now being missed for some time when he recovered from the injury

Matthews started slowly in the 2025 season, but has increased exponentially in the past few weeks, including beating for the cycle five days ago. He is currently lowers .234/.375/.375 with 23 runs, 13 RBI, four home runs, 16 stolen bases and 45 strikeouts on 28 hikes in 37 appearances.

The efficiency on the plate will apparently continue to improve, and the counting statistics were amazing.

Hopefully this will be a fairly quick recovery, since he works through the MLB brain coating protocol but ensure that it is completely up to the specification and has no continuing side effects is the key.

At the age of 23 he has a lot of baseball in front of him and will try to continue an extremely successful 2025 campaign as soon as he eliminates the injured list in the coming weeks.
