Man who were killed in orange County during hit-and-run crash, say soldiers

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is looking for the driver who is involved in a deadly hit and run that took place late Thursday evening in Orange County.

What we know:

Soldiers said that the crash was taken at the intersection of the Wolden Avenue and the S orange Blossom Trail around 10:15 p.m.

According to a press release, a vehicle drove in a west direction on W Holden Road when a 76-year-old man from Orlando, who did not use a marked zebra cross, went into the streets in a west direction.

The vehicle hit the man who was taken to a local hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

The driver fled from the scene after the crash.

Witnesses reported that the vehicle was probably a white minivan. The investigators believe that it is a white Toyota -Sienna that is damaged on the front left headlight.

Anyone who has information about the crash is asked to contact FHP.
