And the winner is …: Streetsblog's new video team who was honored with Deadline Club Award

Talk about a pivot point to the video!

The Streetsblog Social Media Team under the direction of the Engagement editor Emily Lipstein received the Deadline Club's digital video density on Thursday evening.

We submitted three short -registered videos in the category: “You can go faster than this NYC bus”, “Nypds illegal parking spaces have police officers in difficulties with the Feds” and “InstaCart buyers are not covered according to the minimum wage law” (all videos embedded below).

And they were good enough to beat the other two finalists: ABC News (National) for a video about the collateral damage to nuclear weapons development in the 1940s and Newsday for a gripping video about Long Island's tragic history forgotten murder victims.

Here is our award in the U -Bahn after the Harvard Club Gala.

The deadline club judges said that our videos brought “complex and often overlooked problems” clarity and wit, in which social media “were used not only as sales tools, but as an independent storytelling”. (That means we use social media as a sales tool. Subscribe to our feeds on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.)

Practically every piece of the loan goes to Lipstein, who was a street blog less than a year ago and quickly expanded our reach. Emily runs and edits almost all video content from Streetsblog and shares this award with reporters (now we have to call it “The Talent”) Dave Colon, Sophia Lebowitz and David Meyer.

“Within only weeks, Emily Street blogs revolutionized multimedia efforts that cause talents in the employees that more people than the judges of the Deadline Club appreciate. We are so proud of them,” said Gersh Kuntzman, the editor-in-chief of street blogs.

Lipstein, who also leads and monitors the social media feeds of Streetsbogs, joked that the award “may only be worth all deaths”.

The editor of Streetsblog, Gersh Kuntzman and Lebowitz, were also nominated for the “Feating Writing” of the Deadline Club for their history about security and moral crisis fake chaplains.

This type of reporting and video motifs takes support and we have enjoyed our readers so much over the years that this award also belongs to them. If you want to see more of such things, you know what to do. (Thanks!)
