The judgment expects the Tusky Valley bus crash, in which six lives were requested

A man will be exposed to 26 accusations for deaths due to the death of three high school students, two accompanying persons and one teacher in an accident on Interstate 70 in November 2023.

A judge from Licking County is expected to announce the judgment of Jacob McDonald at around 1 p.m., who drove a half swallow in the accident. News 5 has a crew today.

What happened?

On the morning of November 14, 2023, a charter bus with Tusky Valley High School-Band members for an event in Columbus was involved in a crash of the chain reaction on the I-70 in Licking County.

The investigators said that a semi-racket driven by McDonald was hit in an SUV and then onto the bus.

All three people in the SUV were killed: High School teacher Dave Kennat, 56, from Navarre, Parents Chaperone Kristy Gaynor, 39, from Zoar, and parents Chaperone Shannon Wigfield, 45, from Bolivar.

Three students died on the bus: John Mosley, 18, from Mineral City, JD Worrell, 18, from Bolivar, and Katelyn Owens (15) from Mineral City.

The school and the community have continued to honor those who died during the crash.
