Over 100 people in Israeli strikes killed on Gaza

More than 100 people were killed by Israeli strikes in Gaza on Friday, since the fatalities in the enclave have crossed 53,000 since October 7, 2023. The Gaza Ministry of Health said that in addition to the hundreds killed were injured.

The strikes in the refugee camps of Bits Lahiya and Jabalia came without warning that the families inside left these areas in search of a safe place.

Witnesses in Jabalia say that they continue to listen to screams under the rubble without saving these people, and the wounded civilians are reportedly hardly available in the Gazas.

The widespread attacks come when US President Trump ends his visit to Gulf States, but not in Israel. There was widespread hope that his regional journey could initiate a ceasefire or a renewal of humanitarian aid to Gaza, in which an Israeli blockage of the territory is in the third month.

When Trump spoke to reporters in a Business Forum in Abu Dhabi on the last day of his trip, he said to solve a number of global crises, including Gaza.

Israel said it continued his operations against militants in Gaza and it hit 150 destinations last day.

The strikes follow days of similar attacks, in which more than 130 people were killed and hundreds were wounded. An Israeli civil servant described them as “preparatory measures” in advance of a larger operation and to send a message to Hamas that they will soon begin if there is no agreement to publish hostages.

The war began when the militants led by Hamas killed 1,200 people on October 7, 2023. The Israeli retaliation measure has killed more than 53,000 Palestinians, many of them women and children, while an Israeli blockade of food, fuel, medicine and all other supplies from causing enclaves, cause famine and worsen a catastrophic humanitarian crisis.
