Glykolleck, electrofuar delay Trumbull High School opening

Trumbull, ct. (Wfsb) – A hazmat situation and an electric fire forced a school delay in Trumbull on Friday morning.

The Trumbull High School recorded a 3 -hour delay.

According to Trumbull Voluntary Fire Company No. 1, the school first had a gly collect on Thursday evening.

Firefighters said they found over 100 gallons glycol in a hallway from a broken pipe.

The crews helped to weaken the leak and the abstention of dangers.

They said the maintenance of the building closed the HLK system and classified as safe after the safe scene.

The incident was left in the hands of the Trumbull training committee.

Less than 6 hours later, shortly after 3 a.m. on Friday, a call from a fire service interest at the high school came in with a smoke report in the building.

Firefighters reacted again to find a state of smoke caused by a small electric fire from a power cable.

They said the fire had been deleted with a dry chemical extinguisher.
