SC Oberster Court of Justice defines the execution date for horry, Georgetown Co. Death Row Insasse

Horry County, SC (WMBF) – A man who killed two people and raped a young girl in the counties horry and Georgetown are executed.

The Corrections Department of Corrections in South Carolina received an execution order for the inmates of Death tooth Stephen Stanko and was delivered to him on Friday.

His execution date is set for June 13, which is legally set for four Fridays from the date on which the Department of Corrections receives the order.

Stanko is asked to choose his execution method two weeks before the day of execution. The execution methods are fatal injections, the electric chair and the firing squad.

Stanko served two death sentences for crimes he committed in April 2005 in the counties horry and Georgetown.

On April 7, 2005, Stanko beat his girlfriend Laura Ling to death, while he beat and raped in her house in Murrell's Inlet Lings daughter of Lings, who was a minor at the time.

Stanko also opened the daughter's throat to kill her, but she survived.

Then Stanko drove to Lings murder on April 8th in Conway to the house of 74-year-old Henry Turner, who viewed Stanko as a friend. When Stanko was there, he shot gymnast, steel his truck and drove away.

The authorities arrested Stanko a few days later in August, GA.

He was sentenced in August 2006 for Ling's death and rape of her daughter and a murder in Georgetown County and sentenced to death.

In November 2009, he was sentenced to death in Horry County for murder and armed robbery in Turner's death and sentenced to death.

The command of execution applies to Turner's death, since these federal and federal calls were all exhausted.
