Man who was convicted of 2022 Dui crash in which the 17-year-old was killed

The man who is responsible for killing a 17-year-old from Fresno was now able to spend his life in prison.

Fresno, California (KFSN) – The man who is responsible for killing a 17-year-old from Fresno was now able to spend his life in prison.

On Thursday, a judge from Fresno County Michael Mendoza sentenced to 15 years.

Mendoza was charged in March 2022 for a gross vehicle and the DUI of crime.

17-year-old Sarahi Ramierez was killed after Ramirez had blown a stop sign and the T-Boned Ramirez 'truck on the driver's side.

Some of their family members were there to experience the conviction.

Mendoza spoke to her family with a letter in which he expressed his repentance and said he had resigned himself to his punishment.
