The driver flew after a crash in Leonardtown

Leonardtown, Md. -Notfall crews reacted late Thursday evening to a serious accident with a vehicle in Leonardtown, where a person had a person caught and needed a Medevac.

Shortly after 11 p.m. on May 15, 2025, first aiders were sent to the 24400 block of the Maypole Road to have a vehicle in a tree. On arrival, the crews found a single occupant that was trapped in the wreck.

Rescue staff used Hurst Edraulic tools to carry out side removal and free the driver. After the occupancy of the inmate, Ems found that the injuries justified air traffic to a trauma center. The Maryland State Police Trooper 2 was requested and transports the patient.

The cause of the crash remains examined.
