Investigation after suspicious death of moorhead, mn toddler

A press release published on Friday by the Moorhead police authority states that the Cass County North Dakota's forensic doctor informed her about the child's death shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Thursday evening.

The police say that the toddler has no more reacted when it was brought to a hospital in Fargo. Despite life-saving measures, the 20-month old man was declared dead at the crime scene, according to the press release.

The investigators reacted to the medical facility and learned that the child lived with a family in a house in the 1100 block of 18 ½ street South in Moorhead.

The officials secured the residence as part of the examination and asked the BCA to help with the examination.

The police say that the body of the toddler was brought to the autopsy to the medical examiner's office in Ramsey County.

No arrests were announced by Friday afternoon. No further details are available.
