Wareham man, woman, were killed as humans in fiery i-495 accident in Middleborough

Two people from Wareham were identified as the two occupants of a car that had crashed on the Interstate 495 in Middleborough. On Thursday, this led near trees that catch near trees, the office of the district prosecutor of Plymouth County announced on Friday.

Cecil Johnson (70) and Rosemarie Dias (68) died after an accident with a vehicle in which the Middleborough fire brigade alerted around 12:28 p.m.

Firefighters arrived and saw a car on the side of the road and in the forest, whereby flames from the car catch the trees on fire, as the explanation was.

Shortly after firefighters arrived, Johnson and slides were declared dead. No further injuries were reported, the fire brigade said.

All lanes of the i-495 to the north were closed for about half an hour before the left lane was opened again, officials said. The other alleys remain closed as long as there are emergency crews in the area.
