Celtic Boss confirms the extent of the unfortunate violation of REO Hatate

Celtic was very lucky for almost the entire campaign from 2024-2025, but unfortunately this was not the case because the season comes to an end. With JOTA, which runs out in the long term, you are already around a start wing and now you have another injury after your 5-1 win over Aberdeen to expand the list.

Unfortunately, midfielder Reo Hatate near the touch near the touch would be attacked to prevent the ball from going out and ended up with an injury. This challenge was unnecessary and the injury was avoidable, which makes it so much worse.

The potential schedule for the return of Hatate was gratefully discussed.

Manager Brendan Rodgers had to say the following about the status of Hatate for the rest of the season, as was recorded by Sky Sports Scotland:

“Yes, he will miss the last two games, unfortunately for him and for us. He had a fantastic season in relation to availability, 55 games in which he was involved. Only a shame that he will miss these last few games.

“So, yes, you probably talk that he will be fine for the start of the pre -season, but it is only a shame for us, even more for him that he misses these two games.”

He would continue after he was asked about Pape Habib Gueye's challenge that caused the injury and his feelings for the decision that was made for it:

“At the time I thought I thought it was an unnecessary, unnecessary challenge. Everyone knew that it was a free kick. He was only there to … hold the ball from running away. It is not nice to do so under these circumstances.”

Now Celtic has to plan another missing player in the remaining games, which makes her Scottish Cup final much more difficult.

Fortunately, they have some depth in midfield, with Callum McGregor, Paulo Bernardo, Luke McCowan and Arne Engels as the main group. This should be able to find a reasonable combination for the big matchday and put together a start -xi that can lose weight.

Hopefully Hatate will find a fast recovery time bar and is ready for the next season because it is a decisive part of Celtic's success and has proven to be a valuable player in the course of this season.
