Man who was sentenced to prison after a crime with a break -in, chase and corn dog.

(Knsi) – A man from Stearn's County, who admitted to having broken into a business, fleeing the police and plunge into a building in Melrose, was condemned.

The MPs were called to Bueckers Recycling in Millwood Township on January 28th. The owner reported that someone tried to break into a vehicle in the parking lot. The MPs saw footprints that led to the garage door, which indicates a potentially greater theft. The employees reported that 3,350 US dollars as well as a shotgun and tools were missing. The company system's hard drive had been torn out. During a potential break for law enforcement, it seemed that the suspect also got hungry during his crime and supposedly cooked a corn dog from a freezer. The stick was found in the garbage and used for DNA evidence together with a few mechanic gloves on site. The same bootprints in the parking lot also went to two detached scales on the property. The officers then led the footprints to a neighbor, where the hard drive was found by the surveillance camera. Evidence of this volume showed a man who borne boots in the cord boot, a black jacket and a stocking cap that entered a truck that is parked before the process.

A nature conservation officer replied to a call near the business for a suspect. The official said she saw the person described by the caller in a nearby house. The first MP spoke to a woman who identified the man as her son Carlos Lee Rey Garza. She said the 32-year-old man slept and he refused to come to the door.

After the criminal complaint, the MPs, later on that day, saw Garza and pulled him over. When he was informed that he was arrested, he fled at high speed compared to Melrose before he pushed into a shop. A MP searched the crashed car and found a black jacket, a camouflage bag and a hat. The bag contained various objects, including headlights, torch, lighter and screwdriver. Garza fled from the crash and was found by a K9 team that hid in a panel van. He was arrested without further incident.

In February, Garza owed herself guilty to make the first degree first degree and to flee in a motor vehicle in front of a peace officer. He was sentenced to two and a half years in prison on Thursday and recognized for 108 days in prison.
