NFL star John Elway, who is involved in the golf car accident, former agent: report

John Elway was reportedly involved in a golf car accident, in which his former agent and business partner Jeff Sperbeck left a serious head injury, including several sockets, including TMZ and KESQ, News Channel 3.

The 64-year-old NFL-Alum and former general manager of the Denver Broncos was on Saturday, April 26, with his friend at the Madison Club in La Quinta, California.

Sperbeck, 61, fell from the back of a golf car in which they both traveled. The outlet finds that he “hit his head on asphalt”. Sperbeck is said to be “unconsciously, but still breathing”. However, the accident left him with a “traumatic injury”.

Cal Fire reacted to the accident, with a spokesman Kesq said: “It was a reported fall of a golf car and the patient was brought into a local trauma center when unknown.”

According to TMZ, Sperbeck was transported to the Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. He is reportedly for life preservation and the prospects are “not good”.

The Riverside County's office confirmed Kesq that an investigation of the incident had been opened. However, they were not called to the scene at the time of the accident. There are “no signs of it via TMZ [Elway] Did something wrong. ”

According to the outlet, Elway is said to have contacted 911. Ali Simon, a witness in the scene, said to Kesq: “It was so sad and our hearts just go to the families.”

Simon added to the outlet that she was “probably a minute” on the scene before the accident took place.

“We arrived there and [Sperbeck] Unfortunately on the floor and there were people who surrounded him just to make sure he was fine, ”she said.

“People only talked on the phone as soon as possible, it was as scary. It was nothing we ever saw. They just don't believe that they will ever experience something like this,” she concluded and added that doctors arrived within five minutes.

Sperbeck is Elway's long -time agent and the couple was the 7 -Cellar winery together.

On the company's website, Sperbeck is described as a “NFL-certified contract consultant”, who represented over 100 NFL soccer players during his 30-year career as a soccer broker and business consultant. ”

People turned to Cal Fire, the Sheriff office of Riverside County and the Madison Club to apply for an update about the incident, but did not hear back immediately.
