Man who was killed in the shooting of Little River; Miami's police say, Sagittarius claims self -defense

MIAMI – The Miami police examined a fatal shootout in the city of Little River on Friday afternoon.

The police said a man shot another man in the Northwest Fourth Avenue area and the 71st Street. Officers were surrounded by a BMW SUV.

Officer Mike Vega, a spokesman for the police authority in Miami, said that after receiving a Scotsman, they were aware of the shootout around 2:05 p.m.

Vega said the man was critically wounded and later declared dead in the Jackson Memorial Hospital. The detained shooter claims self -defense, the police said.

Vega described the shooter as a “cooperative” and said the police recovered three weapons. In addition to the shooter, the police said they would interview two witnesses.

According to the authorities, more than a dozen rounds were fired, although it is unclear whether both parties have opened the fire.
