In a recently published article, the two shared some details that could explain why Carr suddenly stopped his tunnels. The main detail is that the former quarterback with the saints did not pass.

Fowler explains that a Carr representative spoke to other teams about the potential interest in the experienced quarterback in front of the free agency, even though he was still under contract with New Orleans. According to Fowler, however, the saint didn't care, but the team gave him no permission. However, the question is why Carr was willing to continue.

According to Fowler, a team source believes that the quarterback had a great relationship with the team's former employees and he wanted them to return. However, the saints went in a different direction, and Derek Carr was interested in doing the same.
