Creative composite materials that are recognized as one of 50 companies in Michigan that had to be observed

Rapid River, Michigan (WLUC) – An UP business has been recognized for its growth in recent years.

Creative composite materials in fast river constructions, engineers and manufacturers of advanced composite structures for defense and aerospace industry. This means that it specializes in doing things from materials such as carbon fiber, kevlar and high -strength fiber optic for tanks and aircraft.

Michigan celebrates the company that the company recognized as one of 50 companies in Michigan, which can be seen in April at its summit and Gala 2025. The owner and President of Creative Composites and President Brad McPhee says that the company has grown steadily and has no plans to stop.

“In the past two years we have become 90 employees from around 30 employees and we continue to grow,” said McPhee. “We assume that we will approach 150 by next year. So it is a confirmation of what we have been working for for 30 years.”

Two other up companies received the award – Keweenaw Cooperative, Inc. in Hancock and Tritegrity Machine, LLC in Ironwood.
