Tel Aviv, Israel – It was a deadly week of Israeli air strikes in Gaza.

Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed in the last few days, with the Gaza health officers and Hospital and Mora employees contacted by NPR on Friday alone.

Hospital flights were flooded with injuries and deaths. Many of the strikes killed entire large families. Survivors have difficulty burying so many.

In more than two months of Israel's blockade in the field of more than 2 million people, no foods or supplies have entered the GAZA. Almost half a million people are in a “catastrophic situation of hunger”, and the territory could get into a famine without immediate access to food, the World Health Organization said this week.

The Israeli military says that more than 150 strikes on the Hamas terrorist sites started last day.

The intensive round of attacks came when President Trump was completed in the countries of the Middle East for five days, including Israel. There were hopes that there would be a breakthrough in the boring conversations during his time in the region to achieve an armistice in the Israel-Hamas War.

But by the end of the week, this hope faded, Trump left the region and the Israeli forces continued their bombing of Gaza.

According to Israel, his military pressure campaign is the only way to defeat Hamas and bring the living hostages and the corpses of dead prisoners home, which are still held in Gaza. They were captured during the Hamas attack in Israel on October 7, 2023, in which 1,200 people were killed, according to the Israeli government.

The number of Palestinians who were killed in Israeli attacks in the war this week exceeded 53,000 people – a third of them, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.

The Israeli authorities state that they send a message to Hamas: This is the last chance to complete a deal or to be prepared for a new extended offensive in Gaza, with tens of thousands of Israeli reservists being appointed to duty.
