Seiko dives deep into his catalog to exceed a breathtaking tool clock again

Praised Japanese watch brand Seiko this year celebrates a big milestone: 60 years of the diving clocks of the brand. In honor of this, the brand started the SPB509, a great GMT diver in a limited edition, which pays homage to the Hi Beat 300 M diver from 1968 of the brand.

In a surprising step, the brand has returned to this design as a permanent addition to its catalog – albeit in another, refreshing color. The name of this watch as Seiko Prospex 1968 Heritage Divers GMT 60 -Years of the anniversary is a sip, but can be reduced to a single word: breathtaking.

The SPB519 is essentially an alternative color of the SPB509 and is a permanent addition to the Seiko catalog.

Heir to the throne

Just a few years ago, Seiko started the first mechanical diving clock with GMT functionality. This clock continues this trend and could suggest a larger brand orientations.

As already mentioned, in contrast to his predecessor, this was permanently added to the Seiko catalog. However, its availability is not the only distinction. While the clocks have a lot in common, there are some significant differences.
