The woman who is charged with murder of Telemundo Reporter

A woman from Louisiana, who was charged with the murder of a Telemundo reporter who reported the Super Bowl, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for drugs and robbery in 2021 on Thursday after she had previously been saved in prison in this case.

The woman, Danette Colbert, 48, had her probation canceled according to the Louisiana repeat law.

The judge, Ms. Colbert's probation status, Nandi F. Campbell, had cleared the same judge, who condemned her in the case of 2021 last November and allowed her to avoid the prison for at least her fourth conviction.

This decision was criticized after Adan Manzano's death on February 5 on February 5. Ms. Colbert was the last person who could be seen with him, according to the safety material of his hotel in Kenner, LA. She had stolen his phone and credit card, which looked at the authorities that they visited their drug patterns and dwindling men, who visited New Orleans.

Liz Murrill, Attorney General of Louisiana, had argued that Ms. Colbert should have been behind bars, and asked the judges Campbell to sink them according to the law of repeating the state.

“The evidence was overwhelming that this woman was a serial fraud and has used several tourists and innocent people in the French quarter for many years,” said Ms. Murrill in an explanation on Thursday. “I wish we could have saved Adam Manzano's life.”
