Boys, 12 and 13 years old, arrested for suspicion of 6 burglaries at Long Beach Business – Press Telegram

Two boys aged 12 and 13 were arrested by the Long Beach police this week for suspected six burglaries over three weeks in April, the authorities announced on Friday, May 16, that they.

The boys were released from custody because they are young people, the police said.

They belonged to about six suspects that were accused of destroying the shops in glass panes or windows, the police said. With at least two burglaries, the police said, the group drove a stolen vehicle.

Long Beach Detectives served on Monday, May 12th, in the houses of the two young arrest warrants. The 13-year-old was arrested on this day for suspicion of a commercial slump, the possession of a stolen vehicle and vandalism.

The 12-year-old was not at home when Detectives served the arrest warrant, but was submitted to the Long Beach Police Headquarters the next day and was arrested for suspicion of commercial burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle, the police said.

The break -ins or attempted burglaries occurred:

  • April 8th in Pizza Hut, 4558 Atlantic Ave.
  • April 12th in an outdoor shop, 6440 E. Pacific Coast Highway
  • April 23 in a shop in the shopping center
  • April 26 in Bliss Glass Gallery, 5013 E. Second St.
  • April 26 in Sweet Jill's Bakery, 5001 E. Second St.

The Sweet Jill bakery posted the surveillance material on Instagram by burglars in dark hoodies that were pulled over their heads. The video shows a suspect that breaks the glass door and six suspects who enter the bakery. Some seem to go with objects, while others went in and out several times.

On Friday, the bakery recorded an update on Instagram of the two arrests and thanked the police and the members of the Long Beach for the support of the business.
