Jac Cagianone emphasizes top infieler

Several rising prospects in several positions present waves in the course of the Minor League season. From catcher Dalton to rising infielder Jac Caglianone and Marcelo Mayer, Fantasy managers should keep these names on their radar, especially in baseball formats in Dynasty.

Dalton Rushing, Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers fans had their wish this week after healing themselves to replace Austin Barnes as a backup catcher. The emerging catcher of the Dodgers with 174 runs, 54 Home Runs, 184 RBIs and five theft over 916 bat .277 scored over 263 games.

His debut in the Major League ran at AAA (.308/23/15/19/10/1. Los Angeles played him at 1b (9) and (2) this season and emphasized their willingness to bring him more bats in the majors.

Moises Ballesteros, Chicago Cubs

After the success in 2024 between AA and AAA (.286 over 454 bats with 57 runs, 19 Home Runs, 78 RBIs and a steal), ball yesters achieved in his first 34 games this season at AAA (.372) with 20 Home Runs, 18 RBIs and two St.-372).

The Cubs called him this week, but Chicago still wears Carson Kelly and Miguel Amaya at Catcher. Kelly played surprisingly well on his first 83 bats (.289/18/8/33), highlighted by more walks (20) as strikeouts (13). Amaya has no high upper limit in power, while in his first 23 games (.275 with 11 runs, three home runs and 18 RBis) is in need.

Ballesteros gets an advantage to beat left -handed people, but not for his defense. His opportunity was created by Ian Happ Landing on the injured list. It was to be seen as a DH option for the Cubs and transferred it to the Wild Card category for fantasy teams in 2025.

Deyvison de los Santos, Miami Marlins

Last season, de Los Santos seemed to be on the rapid route of the majors after reaching 89 runs, 40 Home Runs, 120 RBIs and one over 540 between AA and AAA .293. His bats began in 2024, over 35 games (0.248/3/15/3 over 133 bats), due to an increase in strike (31.7% -24.7% last year). It should be noted positively that he rises a hit strip with four games (4-against-14 with four runs, two home runs, five RBIs and theft) to the campaign on Friday evening.

Jac Caglianone, Kansas City Royals

The royals continue to hold Caglianone at AA, although they run a hit strip with seven games (9: 30 with six runs, a Homerun, eight RBIs and a steal). It is even more important that he only had two rashes through this period of time. In his last 23 games, his bat stood on fire (.386/6/25/2 over 88 bats), while he publishes a favorable approach (walk-rate 11.6 and strike rate-17.6). Kansas City will soon have to promote it in any way.

Eddys Leonard, Atlanta Braves

After a boring April (.197 over 76 bats with nine runs, five homes, nine RBIs and two stolen bases) Leonard has been more consistent on the plate (13-against-46 with seven runs, three home runs and eight RBIs) with seven walks in the past two weeks. From 2021 to 2024 in the minor, he met 279 runs, 68 home runs, 251 RBIs and 27 stolen bases .272 over 1,721 bats. This season saw Leonard Action at 2B (23), 3b (18), SS (1) and (1).

The combination of Nick Allen and Orlando Arcia has 11 runs, no Homeruns, nine RBis and five steals over 144 bats this season and shows the need for upgrading at Shortstop. Leonard has 236 experience in the position from 2021 to 2024.

Jordanian legal advisor, Arizona Diamondbacks

The Diamondbacks gave the Lawlar the litigation after his use at the beginning of this week, but he could not take a goal with two strikes. He played a game at Second and Shortstop. His AAA statistics (.336/38/11/13 over 152 bats) point out an extended audition with Arizona this season.

Otto Kemp, Philadelphia Phillies

Although Kemp only hit a Homerun over 48 bats in May, he continued to swing a hot bat (.354 with 11 runs, 10 RBIs and three steals). He successfully opened the season with his first 108 bats (.315/24/9/27/4). The Phillies played it this season at 1B (11), 2b (6), 3b (24) and (4).

Matt Shaw, Chicago Cubs

The Cubs should soon remember, based on the direction of his racket. In his last seven games at AAA, he went 9: 25 with 10 runs, three Home Runs, six RBIs and three steals with a busy approach (three walks and two strikes).

Chicago gave him 143 experience games between AA and AAA in 2024 and 2025, which led to an average of 0.284 with 96 runs, 25 Home Runs, 82 RBIs and 36 stolen bases over 524 spots, which means that his impact fantasy value is listed as soon as Shaw finds its line in the Majors.

Marcelo Mayer, Boston Red Sox

Mayer was more explosive in May, based on his production over 46 bats (.283/9/1/5). He still leads Shortstops in the International League in runs (26), Homeruns (8) and RBIS (39) over 146 bats with an average of 0.274 and theft.

Hesquiel Duran, Texas Rangers

After a year of progress in 2023 (.276/55/46/8 over 406 bats) with the Rangers, Duran has found his Major League Identity in the last two seasons (.235 over 293 AT bats, 28 runs, three Homeruns, 21 RBis and one boot). In his last seven games at AAA, he went with nine runs, two Home Runs, two RBIs and three stolen bases 13-against-28, which led to a call back to Texas to replace Cory Seaager. His game with the Rangers looks stained, but Duran's bat can be streaked.
