Crash in Winona Co. leaves 2 dead, 1 in critical condition Friday – ABC 6 News

(ABC 6 News) – Two people were killed after two vehicles on Interstate 90 Friday afternoon in Winona County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a vehicle drove on the I-90 in a west direction, while the other drove to the east at 3:30 p.m.

Warren Hacker, a 70-year-old man from Appleton Wisc., Was killed in the crash. His passenger, the 71-year-old Patricia Hacker, is listed as life-threatening injuries. She is treated in Saint Mary's Hospital.

The driver of the other car, 83-year-old Hadley Thompson by Pine Island, was also killed.

At the time of the crash, all their seat belts were carried and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to MSP.

The Sheriff department in Winona County was supported by the Lewiston police department and the Lewiston Fire Dept and Ambulance.
