According to the police, a 15-year-old was wounded on Chicagos South Side on Friday evening.

The shootout occurred around 7:26 p.m. in the 9000 block of the South Exchange Avenue in the South Chicago district. The police said three young men were near a sidewalk when they were shot.

A 15-year-old boy was hit in the ankle and thigh and brought to Comer Children's Hospital, where he was listed in a serious condition.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the back and arm, and a 19-year-old man suffered a wound on hand. Both were brought to the Medical Center of the University of Chicago and reported that they were in good condition.
