Crest Hill -mann arrested because he supposedly made illegal video recordings of women – Shaw Local

The Joliet police arrested a man on Tuesday because he had made a video of a former friend without her knowledge.

The 22 -year -old Jose Rendon from Crest Hill was arrested in four cases inadequate video recordings and live video transmission, the police said.

Rendon is “a former friend” of a woman who notified the police on July 25 that, according to a press release from the Joliet Police Department, she found “a video recording device hidden in her bedroom”.

“It was found that Rendon had the device and allegedly recorded the victim without their consent,” says the publication.

“As part of this investigation, Detective Rendon surveyed, who confirmed that he had the victim without their consent,” said the press release.

Detectives received an arrest warrant against Rendon on Monday. He was arrested on Tuesday after turning, the police said. Rendon was brought to the adult's prison in Will County.
