The NBA legend sends Knicks strongly after removing Celtics

The New York Knicks broke the Boston Celtics to take their first trip to the Eastern Conference final in a quarter of a century, but an NBA legend believes that their playoff run will end there.

The Knicks took control of the 6-year-old game on Friday evening and drove to a 119:81 win that sent the Celtics home for the low season. In 2000, the Knicks achieved a retirement of their last trip to the final of the Eastern Conference and faced a hot Indiana Pacers team with the series on Wednesday in New York.

The former Celtics legend, the NBA analyst Paul Pierce, warns for the Knicks and pointed out that they have just put down a Boston team that lost the star player Jayson to an Achilles injury.

Pierce predicted that this would be the end of the line for the Knicks.

“Pacers will all pack you. Pacers will all get you,” said Pierce in a video that was shared after the game on Friday. “You have beaten an injured Celtics team.”

Knick's head coach Tom Thibodeau does not take the Pacers easily and, after the victory on Friday, says that his team has to prepare a lot of preparation for Indiana.

“It is a great victory. We provide ourselves. You can see that, but you also understand that you have to prepare for the next series,” said Thibodeau about the Associated Press. “The Pacers are a great team and we have to be ready.”
